This statement encompasses various sectors including our head office operations, education sectors (Imperium International College, St John International School and Kasturi Academy) and the hospitality sector (H360 Group of Companies).
The Budimas Charitable Foundation (“Budimas”) was established in 1998 with the mission to provide guidance and funding in support of the welfare and well-being of orphans and underprivileged children in Malaysia. Budimas Home Charity Fund (BHCF) supports more than 2,000 children in 42 charitable homes across Malaysia. Budimas Food Charity Fund (BFCF) provides breakfast to over 5,000 poor children in 151 schools nationwide. The foundation had also built and currently manages 9 children’s libraries in rural villages as well as Orang Asli settlements which is funded by Budimas Education Charity Fund (BECF).
Yayasan Amal Maaedicare or Maaedicare Charitable Foundation (“Maaedicare”) (MAA Medicare Charitable Foundation est. 1994) is an independent public trust fund and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of MAA Group to provide treatment to needy kidney failure patients. Today, YAM has grown by leaps and bounds to become the second largest dialysis provider in Malaysia, caring for more than 800 patients at 11 dialysis centres nationwide with a total of 196 machines. In September 2018, YAM opened its doors to cardiac services with the first charitable cardiac diagnostic and treatment centre – the Maaedicare Cardiac Diagnostic Centre in Kuala Lumpur.
